Courage Cards, a project of the Allina Health Foundation, offers an inspiring collection of high-quality holiday cards featuring museum-quality artwork, many of which are created by talented artists with disabilities. By purchasing these cards, you help individuals with disabilities live, work, and thrive to their fullest potential.

Since the creation of our very first Courage Card in 1958—a two-color pencil drawing—we have grown to receive submissions from artists across the United States through our annual art search. We invite artists of all abilities to submit their designs for consideration in our next holiday card collection. Each year, thousands of Courage Cards are sent by businesses, organizations and individuals who believe in making a positive impact. To date, Courage Cards has raised over $6 million for Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, and we take immense pride in the work we do. We are grateful to our customers—the compassionate and generous individuals who choose to send our cards to their valued clients, colleagues, family members, and friends.

We offer customizable cards on our website, allowing you to create a personalized touch. Additionally, you can find our boxed cards at our community retail partners, Lunds & Byerly's and Bachman's. These partners graciously return 100% of the proceeds, further supporting our mission.

At the heart of Courage Cards is the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute a place where we collaborate with individuals, inspiring them to maximize their health and abilities, and guide them towards purposeful lives filled with potential. Our combined legacy of over 150 years traces back to the founding of Courage Center in 1928 and Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute in 1942. Together, they bridged crucial service gaps for people with disabilities.
